Heatmiser adds skills and experience to the team as it gears up for growth

Advanced heating control manufacturer Heatmiser has added several personnel to its ranks, including a new Operations Manager, as the company continues to update its production and customer services, ready for growth in the UK and European home heating and climate control markets.

The appointments come as Heatmiser has been given a key role in the Climate Control division of parent company IMI following the £110m acquisition of the Blackburn-based business in 2022.

David Goldsbrough joins the company as Operations Manager, responsible for improvements to production quality, warehouse management, and on-site health and safety. David, a highly experienced Operations Manager with an extensive career in a broad range of industries, joins the company from Blackburn-based rubber manufacturer Silicone Engineering where he was QHSE Manager.

In addition, Heatmiser has appointed a New Business Development Manager as the company looks to build on the opportunities of being part of the new IMI Climate Control sector. Neil Budd joins the company from Wavin, where he served a Global Product Manager, having also previously worked for Purmo Group and Emmeti UK, equipping him with the skills and industry knowledge required to be a key driver of Heatmiser’s market expansion plans.

Further developments at Heatmiser during 2024 includes investment in the manufacturing centre in Blackburn with the aim of improving on existing manufacturing processes and capabilities, ready for future requirements being driven by the market in the UK and Europe.
